Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how PraetorLink LLC ("PraetorLink," "we," "us" or "our") handles information in connection with praetorlink.com (the "Site") and when you contact us. Some of our apps and services have their own privacy policies, such as the PraetorLink Command Privacy Policy. Where a product has its own policy, that policy controls for that product.
Information we collect
Information you give us. If you email us, we receive your email address, name and anything you choose to include in your message.
Information collected automatically. The Site has no accounts, sign-in, forms, advertising or analytics, and we do not set our own cookies. Like any website, when you visit, our hosting and security provider (Cloudflare) and our font provider (Google Fonts) receive technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page and the time of your visit, which they use to deliver and protect the Site. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies.
How we use information
We use information to respond to you, provide and improve our products and services, keep the Site secure, prevent fraud and abuse, comply with law and enforce our terms.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only: with service providers that help us operate, such as Cloudflare (hosting and security) and Google Workspace (email), who may use it only to provide services to us; when required by law, subpoena or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property or safety of PraetorLink, our users or others; and in connection with a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
Retention
We keep email correspondence for as long as needed for the purpose it was sent, for our business records and to meet legal obligations, and then delete it. Server logs kept by our providers are retained according to their own policies.
Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information we handle. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, including California and other U.S. states, the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights, such as to receive a copy of your information, object to or restrict certain processing, or appeal our decision about your request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights. We may need to verify your identity before responding. Because the Site does not track you across sites, we treat Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals as already honored.
Third-party sites
The Site links to third-party services such as YouTube, X and TikTok. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
International visitors
We are based in the United States, and information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws than your country.
Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date, and where a change is material we will take reasonable steps to give notice.
